Aubrey Wollett brings another refreshing coastal song with a classic country sound. Her brand new single “Coastal Cowgirl” was written by Wollett herself after traveling out West for a few weeks for shows last year. “Something about looking over the Pacific Ocean on top of a mountain out West hit differently for this Florida girl. I think I started realize I need to enjoy the different chapters I’m in while I’m on this music journey, ” Wollett says.

As her lyrics say, “She’s chasing the sun all over the world, she’s a Coastal Cowgirl.”

This song is available on Wollett’s latest Ep, “Honest,” which is a collection of songs written over 2020. “Lighthouse” is the 3rd track on the record, which showcases Wollett’s smooth, soulful, and heartfelt spirit from the music to the video production. This music video was filmed on Egmont Key in St. Petersburg, FL and also at North Dunedin Baptist Church where Wollett grew up going to church and started singing. “We knew this song was special after we wrote it. I think both of our souls needed it in that moment and I wanted to share it with the world with hope that it gives comfort to someone else too.” -Wollett says.

Aubrey Wollett felt instantly nostalgic when she returned to her high school auditorium. It had been 15 years but the stage where she first dreamed of becoming a performer was still peppered with memories of her first lead role in a play and singing the national anthem dozens of times for school assemblies.

“When you’re in high school, you think everything is the biggest deal of your life,” said Wollett, sitting in a vintage wingback chair on that very same stage.
