The Stockyard with Carly Pearce

Such an unforgettable night opening for Carly Pearce at The Stockyard in Holiday, FL. It was an honor to share the stage with her being such a fan myself. Carly has continued to pave the way for women in Country Music by releasing her debut single, “Every Little Thing” as a ballad and reaching number one on the charts. Be sure to check out her newest single, “Hide the Wine.”

I am grateful for radio host Cadillac Jack and all of QYK for their support,  as well as the incredible hospitality from The Stockyard. Thank you to friends and family who came out to the show. I loved seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new ones too! I have posted meet and greet photos on my Facebook Music Page here. Http://www.facebook.com/aubreywollettsings

Run to the Water

Run to the Water is now available on iTunes and Spotify!!  This song is special to me because I co-wrote it with friends of mine, Alaynna Carroll and Austin Adams, in Nashville during a time that I was really missing home in Florida. It’s a song that brings me back to the beach and the roots that I came from. My hope is that it makes your soul feel good and takes you to a vacation state of mind. I’m honored to have David Nail’s band play on this record and produced with Little Big Town’s live sound engineer, Jason Hall. Also, one of background singers from A Thousand Horses, Kristen Rogers, is singing on it!! Let me know what you think about it on your socials and share with your friends! Thank you for your incredible support!!

The Firecracker 5K – Ronald McDonald House

Screen Shot 2015-06-23 at 3.30.38 PM

It’s officially SUMMERTIME!! It’s also getting close to that time of year again… fireworks, family, and celebrating America by wearing your best patriotic attire! This year I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be playing music at the Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Florida  Firecracker 5K in Pensacola, FL.  This charity is very close to my heart, as I was heavily involved when I attended University of West Florida, being an Alpha Delta Pi. The RMH serves as a home-away-from-home for children and families receiving medical treatment in the area. It’s only $27 to enter into the race to run OR walk for a great cause. Plus, you’ll get a free live acoustic performance at the finish line from your favorite country singing Florida girl. 😉

I’ll be performing in downtown Pensacola outside of Seville Quarter following the race @ 8:30AM.

Wishing everyone a happy 4th!

Paris, Je T’aime!

Paris

Bonjour, all the way from Paris, France. I’ve been spending the last month touring and exploring in Europe. I’ve been checking things off my bucket list as I go, but at the very top of my list I had “playing in Paris.”  Now I can say… ✓! I played in a newer wine bar called Chez Nous.  The atmosphere is perfect for a quant drink with a friend or co-worker, and a MUST for a tourist to enjoy a local hot spot. I didn’t have any sound equipment with me (I was already at my limit with the clothes I brought), so I lucked out with their acoustics in the building. Any Vampire Diaries addicts?… They were also  found hanging out at this exact spot for a drink a couple months ago.

I had no idea how much Europeans LOVE American music! It’s all over their radios, and many of their local artists cover a lot of American music. This was definitely working in my favor. I want to give a shout out to the Chez Nous crew and Chloe for helping make my trip to Paris so magical! ★

Summer Never Ends

10336734_764903136895777_3785774068738176911_n

This summer has been one for the books! Not only did I check off boxes from my bucket list, but I was able to play music from coast-to-coast and meet so many new friends and fellow country music lovers. I spent a lot of time in the panhandle of Florida, where a piece of my heart will always be, and then made my way back and forth along the Gulf side to my hometown in the Tampa Bay area. There’s nothing like being surrounded by family and friends who have supported my dreams every step of the way and continue to do so. I love Nashville, but it’s refreshing to play for people who are eager for new music. Plus, who doesn’t love playing on a sandy beach with a sunset for background lighting?

I even stepped foot on California sand for the first time. People were right, the weather is absolutely perfect! I played in Santa Monica at the Sonoma Wine Garden and Village Pub, and Music Heals Theatre in Palm Springs. Exploring along the way, I adventured through LA, Venice Beach, Hollywood, and even Disneyland!! I’m so grateful for the friends I met while I was in California. There were definitely moments where I wasn’t exactly sure what my plans were, but hey, I’m just trying to live the gypsy life!

I know summer is technically over, but for me it’s a state of mind. The sun’s always shining and that feeling of freedom is still burning. The cure for anything is saltwater, so book a trip to Florida or California… where summer really never ends!
